Lido Key Mangrove Tunnels, Coquina Beach, Jewfish Key, Bradenton, St. Pete
Our friends Jennifer & Trey came to stay with us February 17th – 22nd. We picked them up in St. Pete and then headed down to Sarasota. We anchored our first night at the Cortez Bridge and got up early the next morning to head to Otter Key Anchorage. It was very foggy that morning so we had to go slow. Later in the day, we had some dolphins surfing our wakes. We ate at The Old Salty Dog and kayaked through the Lido Key Mangrove Tunnels. The next day we anchored at Jewfish Key and James dropped Jennifer and me off at the Coquina Beach Market. The next morning, we headed up to Bradenton and went downtown to Oak & Stone Rooftop for dinner. We also visited the Desoto Park and St. Pete Beach before they left on the 22nd. We had a great time and it was nice to just relax with friends for a few days.
